No Shortcut to Democracy

People who are use to shortcuts might not understand this but the truth is there is no shortcut to democracy. One has to sacrifice to reap the fruits and no matter how bad it feels while traveling but the destination is always sweat. Its a way of living not a TV show. Its what and how a nation lives and you cannot change a life style in a fortnight. People always need to learn how to start controlling their destiny. People here keeps on pointing fingers toward the developed countries and say that why we are not like them what they have which we don't. They forget one major thing that they have already crossed this path, and done whatever was required to attain this path. In simple words they already shed the blood for the cause.
People here always keep referring to the French Revolution without knowing what it was, against whom it was and just want to talk about the "Reign of Terror" which was a part of it not the whole revolution. They completely forget that it was about principles of citizenship and inalienable right headed by the liberal political groups against the Absolute Monarchy, Feudals, Aristocrats and the Church and there privileges. Interestingly these claims usually came from the classes who supports dictatorship or what we commonly say the rule of "danda", Yes "danda" should be there but who should be the force behind that "danda". A single man answerable to no one or person who knows that if he will not do well the when after a certain amount of time when he have to go back to the masses to ask for there vote then they will use this "danda" to throw him out.
We are the ones who have to take the responsibility of how to be governed as how we want it. There are no shortcuts in life everyone have to take the road of hardship to reach it. The choice is on us that we want to be governed how we want it or just need a "danda" which will only show the direction he wants.
