Every now or then I will switch on any channel and the media person sitting over there will be grilling anyone claiming that he is representing the masses. He is there representative and masses have sent him here to do all this. But I always wonder that I am not the person who sent them. Are you the one? if yes can you tell me the procedure to select them and if there is no procedures define then how come you select him. If not then how he is there using me and all around us to portray his or his media house policies on there television sets. Last time I checked only person whom I select to represent me was through voting in last elections. These persons as far as I remember are the only persons who can claim to be the Public Representatives (and yeah if you don't vote please SHUT UP because you are the one who just bark and don't do any good for your country) whether they are sitting in Government seats or in Opposition these are the guys whom I sent to work for me and my country. You don't like them sure next time choose wisely but this time the majority liked them more.
What about the Judges or the Civil Servants or the Military? Well last time I checked I have no saying in who will be getting promoted or who will get the job directly. Yeah I can select my representative who might have some say in it but me, no way or can you choose who will be the next Chief Justice of Lahore High Court next time directly; Through any public vote or something. If yes can you send me the procedure where to go and vote for it ,and if no then how they are representing me. Yeah sure they are part of the check and balances present in any society but who they should be answerable to in the end for there accountability. To us I think don't you. But are they. No I don't think so. So whom then I think to my representatives. Yeah these are not the brightest lot but is there any shortcut. If yes tell me. If no then dear we have to keep the process going instead of always trying to interfere in it because for any journey to be finished in the minimum amount of time you have to always keep on going instead of pushing the breaks after every few years. Who will be on the loosing end. Yeah you and me both.
